Two amazing artists, Bonnie Bishop and Bri Bagwell and The Banned performing two completely separate shows in one night at Buffalo Creek Wedding and Entertainment Venue, March 25, Friday all for only $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Crawfish boil, too for an additional charge.
In 2012, Bonnie Bishop won her first grammy for songwriting with "Not Cause I Wanted To", co-written with former NRBQ guitarist Big Al Anderson and recorded by blues legend, Bonnie Raitt. The song was voted Song of the Year by the New York Times and caused Raitt to proclaim: "Bonnie Bishop is very special - I think she is going to be a big star."
With a successful career on the Americana and Texas music circuits behind her, including five albums, critical acclaim and a nomination for Vocal Performance of the Year at the Lone Star Music Awards, Bonnie is proud to announce the launch of her groundbreaking ‘Story & Song’ podcast. This series is available exclusively on bonniebishop.com.
Bagwell is a three-time TRRR Female Vocalist of the Year who made a splash on the scene with her 2011 hit, “Whiskey.” She has solidified herself as a premier female artist in Texas and Red Dirt Music, shown by the success of her latest album. Her song “My Boots” off When a Heart Breaks reached the top of the Texas Music Charts for her first-ever No. 1 single.
“In a year when Texas country has seen several fantastic albums released by an exciting new generation of female artists, Bri Bagwell has arguably made the flashiest splash,” the Dallas Observer wrote. The Houston Press listed When a Heart Breaks as its second-best Texas Country album of 2015, saying Bagwell’s album “was just too good for anyone to ignore.”
Join us at Buffalo Creek Wedding and Entertainment Venue in Bellville for this once in a lifetime show with these two outstanding female artists!
